Hello 👋

I'm a Game & UX Designer passionate about crafting fun, intuitive experiences that resonate with players and users.

I currently work at Gamecrafters’ Collective, leading the end-to-end development of our first board game, Celestial Conquest. I drive continuous improvement through rigorous playtesting and contribute to the upcoming Kickstarter launch and marketing campaign videos.

Previously, I was a Game Designer at Orkire Technologies, where I designed 3 hyper-casual mobile games. My background also includes various customer-facing roles in hospitality and as a university ambassador, where I honed my understanding of user needs, teamwork and communication.

I hold a Master's in Computer Games Technologies from the University of Portsmouth, UK and a Bachelor's in Game Design and Development from the Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida.

I'm a problem-solver, a storyteller and a collaborator.

What does a Game/UX Designer mean for you? How would you explain it to non-industry folks?

For me, a Game/UX Designer means making digital experiences fun, engaging, and easy for people to enjoy.

This means advocating for our players and users, understanding their needs and desires. The games and digital tools we build are meant to bring joy, challenge, and seamless interaction into their lives. These tasks can be:

  1. Learning how to play a new game without feeling confused.

  2. Finding what you need quickly in a game's menu or app.

  3. Feeling immersed and excited by a game's world and story.

  4. Ensuring a game or app works well for everyone, no matter their tech skills.

I'll give you an analogy. Imagine designing a playground, and you're the Playground Architect (designer). You would design the blueprint of the play area, decide where the swings go, how the slides connect, and where the sandpit should be. You think about how kids will move around, what will make them laugh, and how to keep them safe.

There will be a safety manager who ensures everything is built correctly, and various builders who bring the vision to life. But you, as the architect/designer, constantly work with the kids (users/players) and others involved to make sure the playground is fun, safe, and exciting for everyone.

So my role as a Game/UX Designer is to build exciting and intuitive experiences for people, making sure that playing our games or using our apps feels natural, delightful, and inclusive for all human needs.

Designing a great experience means considering:

  • People who might be playing on older phones or small screens.

  • People who prefer using a keyboard over touch, or have different physical abilities.

  • People from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring the game makes sense and feels welcoming to them.
